It is quieter than some of its neighbouring north coast resorts but Agia Pelagia still offers visitors a wide choice in accommodation, places to eat and drink and brilliant beach experiences.
There are numerous little bays and coves around the area of Agia Pelagia which makes for interesting snorkelling, sun bathing and swimming opportunities. There is also a Scuba diving centre for the adventurous.
Agia Pelagia bay is a natural protection from the sometimes fierce north winds that can make swimming almost impossible at certain times on the north coast. Because of this protection you rarely get a day when the waters aren't calm in the bay. This makes it ideal for families with children.
