Bali, Crete is a small coastal resort about 30 kilometres east of Rethymno, almost dead centre of the island. The beach is sandy with pebbles in some areas, but is very popular and can get busy in the height of summer. There are plenty of restaurants and bars close to the beach.

Bali is quite picturesque, with the resort surrounded by hills, dotted with small coves and a lovely harbour.
