A few days ago, it was quite unsettled with some windy wet days and we thought that it was going to be a cool changeable October - like last year. The last few days have been very warm and sunny, so panic over!

However, things are definitely winding down in Kalyves. We went out for a meal at the Medusa Restaurant and it was their last night of the season.

Bar blast

" A homemade explosive device caused serious damage to a bar in the western district of Aegaleo when it detonated early yesterday. The device, which comprised a kilo of dynamite, is believed to have been planted by assailants on behalf of a rival bar. The force of the blast damaged another five adjacent stores and two parked cars but no one was injured. "
