Newly launched this week is the lovely website Walk with Donkeys.
Based in Anatoli in South East Crete and just 35 minutes from Agios Nikolaos, 15 minutes from Ierapetra and 30 minutes drive from family coastal resort of Myrtos, you'll find a wonderful donkey shelter.
"Walk with Donkeys", the donkey shelter for unwanted donkeys in the Ierapetra area offers help and support to donkey owners in the villages of the area.

Walk with Donkeys also offer a variety of opportunities to meet, ride on and walk with donkeys. Popular with families is the chance for children to ride on donkeys over farm tracks and through olive groves.
Walk with Donkeys also offer half day, full day and evening walks with donkeys. They also offer a 5 day walk with donkeys tour.
